Роза на мокром от растаявшего свежего снега на камне перед памятником “Стерегущему”

A rose lying in melted snow in front of “Steregushchiy” monument in Alexandrovsky park near Gorkovskaya subway station (there seems to be a lack of English-language explanations of what this monument is about – it honors the memory of the eponymous warship crew which engaged Japanese fleet on unequal terms and preferred to sink the wounded ship rather than surrender; that was in 1904). Perhaps I will post a picture of the monument itself later.
